Understanding the endovascular simulators

Approaching the equipment

It is important for the operator to recognize and be comfortable with the various types of simulators and the components that make up the simulated angiography suite. Almost all simulators are designed with high fidelity controls and apparatus to mimic the realistic procedural environment. This is an opportunity for trainees to become comfortable with the control and foot panels and appreciate how they can be used to optimize patient care and therapy.
