Shaunak Adkar, MD | Chief Resident
Dr. Adkar's clinical and research interests center on vascular surgery, with a particular focus on vascular biology and synthetic immunology.
Post graduation, Dr. Adkar is staying at Stanford University and the VA. During his professional development year, he conducted genomics research with Drs. Nicholas Leeper and Derek Klarin, further strengthening his interest in advancing vascular biology through translational research.
Shernaz Dossabhoy, MD | Chief Resident
Dr. Dossabhoy's clinical and research interests center on vascular surgery, with a particular focus on complex aortic disease.
Post graduation, Dr. Dossabhoy is headed to Kaiser Santa Clara. During her professional development year, she completed a T32 fellowship in Health Policy, where she expanded her expertise in health policy, outcomes research, and clinical effectiveness, further strengthening her commitment to improving care for patients with complex vascular disease.
Sheena Amin, MD | Vascular Medicine Fellow
Dr. Amin's clinical and research interests center on vascular medicine, with a particular focus on peripheral artery disease and improving outcomes in venous disease.
Post graduation, Dr. Amin is headed to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center to continue her training in cardiovascular disease following completion of her Vascular Medicine Fellowship at Stanford. During her fellowship, she valued the exceptional mentorship and collaborative culture that defined the Stanford Vascular Surgery community, further strengthening her commitment to advancing patient care in vascular medicine.
