We appreciate your interest in the upcoming Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency at Stanford University Medical Center. As you may know, recent approval by the American Board of Surgery and the ACGME has allowed the creation of integrated "0-5" Vascular Surgery Residencies. We are pleased to report we have full approval from the RRC for our new integrated 0-5 residency program. Seen below is the grid for how the 5 years of the residency will be split up.
Applications will be accepted outside the match for 2008 cycle. Applicants must be eligible to graduate from an MD or DO school prior and have completed and passed Steps 1 and 2 of the USMLE Board exams prior to enrolling into the residency. Any questions should be directed to Ronald L. Dalman, MD, chief and program director (rld@stanford.edu) or Jason T. Lee, MD, associate program director (jtlee@stanford.edu).

The tentative dates for interviewing prospective applicants will be in March and April of 2008. We will be flexible with travel schedules and understand the expense and difficulty with countrywide travel. Invitations for interviews will be based on those individuals who have sent us a complete application.
Any questions regarding the residency match should be directed towards Ronald L. Dalman, MD, program director and chief, or Jason T. Lee, MD, associate program director. Thank you again for your time and we hope to meet you in person at the interview!
